Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled Restaurant Runner to join our vibrant dining team. As a key player in our kitchen-to-table service, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your role will involve running food from the kitchen to the dining tables, supporting servers, maintaining cleanliness, and communicating with the kitchen team.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
• Delivering Dishes: You'll be responsible for delivering dishes to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring each dish arrives in perfect condition.
• Supporting Servers: You'll assist servers by refilling drinks, clearing plates, and providing any necessary items to guests, helping to maintain a seamless dining experience.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: You'll help keep the dining area clean and organized, quickly clearing and resetting tables to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Communicating with the Kitchen: You'll be the bridge between the kitchen and the front-of-house team, ensuring that special requests and timing are communicated effectively.
• Assisting with Setup and Breakdown: You'll help set up the dining area before service and assist with cleaning up afterward, ensuring everything is in order.
• Providing Excellent Customer Service: You'll interact with guests to ensure their needs are met, delivering exceptional service with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Learning and Development: You'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced team members, gaining insights into restaurant operations and customer service.
Core Competencies
• Fluent in English & Italian is a must
• 1+ years of hospitality experience is a plus
• A strong sense of urgency and the ability to move quickly and efficiently
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• A keen eye for detail, ensuring that every dish and table setting is perfect
• The ability to handle pressure and remain calm during busy service times
• A proactive approach, always looking for ways to assist your team and improve the guest experience
• And a willingness to learn, because in our restaurant, growth and development are always on the menu
