Job Title: Associate Director Market Access International
Deciphera Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Associate Director Market Access International to join our team. As a key member of our Market Access team, you will be responsible for developing and executing market access strategies for our products in Europe, focusing on France and Italy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement regional and country pricing and access strategies.
• Ensure deep country-level understanding of payer needs and decision-making approaches.
• Lead and own local pricing reimbursement processes in individual markets.
• Coordinate and lead reimbursement dossiers and price negotiations with local authorities.
• Secure timely submission and follow-up of PR submissions with the authorities.
• Organize internal expert committees for market access strategies or health economic models.
• Ensure evidence synthesis activities are performed to meet local payer needs.
• Support the development of health economic analyses required for patient access.
• Identify and drive additional evidence needs through RWE generation activities.
• Provide input to clinical development on study designs to address local payer requirements.
• Update local and global cross-functional teams on environment changes and ongoing activities.
• Establish strong relationships with relevant public health authorities.
• Train field teams in market access specific questions.
• Lead development and training of International Value Communication Plan.
• Monitor the market access landscape in Europe and internationally.
• Collaborate closely with critical functional areas internationally and in Europe.
Requirements:
• University degree, MBA or PhD in science and/or economics preferred.
• At least 6 years of biotech/pharmaceutical/consulting experience in a reimbursement/market access related role.
• Demonstrated experience supporting the regional launch of innovative therapies.
• Hands-on experience with country pricing negotiations.
• Demonstrated knowledge in at least one of the core market access domains.
• Experience and proven success working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and frequent change.
• Ability to work across cultures and willingness to travel frequently.
