Wollaston School is a large, rural community school located in a village setting about 15 minutes drive from Northampton. The student intake draws on nearby villages and the towns of Earls Bar-ton, Wellingborough, and Irchester. We have over 1400 students on roll with approximately 240 students in the Sixth Form. The school is over-subscribed. Wollaston School was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in April 2017.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & dynamic teacher who is able to teach the subject focusing on Key Stage 5. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is ready to teach at a higher level and we would con-sider part time hours for the right applicant.
The Maths faculty comprises twelve specialist members of staff and is one of the most successful faculties in the School, consistently achieving results that demonstrate extremely good progress at all levels. It is a successful experienced team, anyone joining would be well supported. Maths is consistently one of the most popular subjects at A-level. Core Maths and Further Maths is also offered in the Sixth Form. Several students each year progress on to study maths related subjects at higher education institutions.
You would be joining a forward-thinking and creative faculty with a collegiate approach to teaching & learning. The faculty also offers a vibrant and thriving extra-curricular programme such as the regional Maths Challenge Competition.
