Chelveston Road School opened in September 2021 with a cohort of Year 7 students. The school is part of the Better Together Learning Trust and caters for students with a range of learning and cognition needs as well as autism.
In September 2022, as well as welcoming its second cohort of students, Chelveston Road School welcomed five year 12 students into its Post 16 provision.
Chelveston Road School’s leadership team welcomes applications from dynamic individuals who will make a positive difference to the lives of young people with SEND, all under the umbrella of Better Together Learning Trust’s core value of ‘Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day’.
We are looking for four outstanding, enthusiastic and passionate teachers who possess a creative and flexible approach to teaching and have the skills to teach across a range of subjects to students with special educational needs.
We are a secondary school for pupils with a diverse range of special educational needs and the successful applicant will help us meet the challenge of developing our provision and curriculum to enable our pupils to make progress and gain skills and accreditation for later life.
We welcome applications from all aspiring teachers, whether from mainstream or special education. A positive attitude and drive are important to us. Applications from those on the Early Career Framework will also be considered.
