We are looking for an experienced and inspirational leader who can motivate all those around them. Developing positive and proactive relationships with academy based staff will play a key part to this role being highly successful. You must be comfortable being visible and outward facing with the whole community of the school and wider Trust.

The Principal will ensure:
• The Trust Executive Leadership team and Local Governors are kept fully informed of all aspects of the school’s performance through relevant meetings and reporting mechanisms;
• The school meets all relevant targets and standards;
• The vision, values and ethos of the Trust are embedded into strategic and operational planning and are evident in the daily life of the school;
• The school meets the needs of all its students;
• The school implements effective and efficient practices, policies and procedures;
• The interests of the school are actively promoted locally, regionally and nationally and the work it undertakes is recognised as best practice.

In return, our new Principal will be working for a Trust with a genuine commitment to the wellbeing of all staff and career development and progression.

We have a long track record of ‘growing our own’ and are committed to providing professional development opportunities for all staff. These include:
• Support (both financial and with study time) for other professional development programmes including MBAs.
• Access to Nationally Recognised Professional Qualifications and other external programmes including the Chartered Teacher Programme.
• Our in-house Leadership Pathways programme which offers bespoke training for middle and senior leaders.
• All school leaders contribute 10% of their time to 'working together to improve all our schools'.
