Applications are invited for a permanent, Band 2 Receptionist. The post holder will provide a comprehensive Reception/secretarial service to The Garburn House outpatient unit, coordinating their activities with other members of the Business Administration Team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
We are looking for someone with strong customer service, organisational and communication skills. They must have an excellent telephone manner and experience of Microsoft packages e.g. Word/excel/outlook.
The successful applicant will require a mature, flexible approach and the ability to work within a busy team. They will also be expected to use their own initiative and work unsupervised to ensure the effective coordination of duties.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive reception administration and information service across the Mental Health Network, coordinating their activities with other members of the Business Administration Team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
The post holder is required to work flexibly and cover additional hours when required, in response to the needs of the Networks administrative service providing cover to departments on various sites as directed by their Team Leader to ensure continuity of a quality service provision.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
