On this occasion we are looking for a Senior Accountant responsible for overseeing and performing accounting processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and contributing to the financial success of the company.
What are your responsibilities? 💻
• Execution of the monthly Consolidated accounting closing and support in the closing of the individual companies of the Group, ensuring compliance with the obligations of the same, both accounting and tax, in accordance with current legislation.
• Supervision of Freepik's consolidated accounting and proposal of new administration and control policies and procedures (IFRS / USGAAP / PGC).
• Preparation of Annual Accounts and Consolidated Annual Accounts as well as other financial and non-financial information reports.
• Support in the execution and management of all accounting processes in the group companies, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and fixed assets.
• Comprehensive management, control and verification of the digital accounting file and the maintenance of the database and subsequent recording in the accounts.
• Review and capitalisation of intangible assets, especially in relation to R&D projects.
• Compilation of all accounting information and documentation requested by Freepik Group's external auditors, in order to respond quickly, concretely and efficiently to the requirements demanded in terms of accounting audits.
• Optimisation of internal procedures and search for opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Study and detection, from an accounting point of view, of errors, deviations and possible areas for improvement in the accounting infrastructure, through a detailed analysis of the same, for the continuous improvement of all processes within its scope of competence.
• Leadership and management of accounting projects.
What are we looking for? 💡
• University studies in Accounting, Finance or similar.
• +3 years as a Senior Auditor or Accounting Manager in companies in international consolidated groups.
• Native Spanish or bilingual competence. English C1.
• Highly proficient in ERP. The use of Oracle NetSuite will be a plus.
• Up-to-date and advanced knowledge of accounting regulations (IFRS/GAAP).
• Knowledge of accounting consolidation.
• Valuable: Master's Degree in Accounting Auditing.
• Valuable: Experience in process automation.
• Valuable: Knowledge of sustainability issues.
• Valuable: Experience in the technology/start up sector.
• Soft skills: Teamwork, communication, proactivity and autonomy, adaptation to change, time management and planning, decision-making skills, problem solving and attention to detail, analytical skills, dynamism.
