Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Plan, prioritize and drive projects and/or implement cross-department initiatives and support 2 to 3 key projects at a given time.
• Break down complex business problems into simpler pieces, prioritize and present information in easily digestible manner to business teams.
• Act as a data advocate and get buy-in from Sr management teams on proposed solutions.
• Create a compelling business case and propose best BI/analytics solution
• Analyze data to answer key questions with an eye for what drives business
• Follow agreed processes to deliver outcomes efficiently & within agreed SLAs with a continuous improvement mindset
• Develop, maintain, and review the requirements, design and testing documentation
• Adhere to Data Governance as data auditor for reports/dashboards, analytics, insights and data quality.
• Coach junior team members to help them ramp-up into the organization
Qualifications:
• 5 - 8+ years of relevant hands on work experience in Advanced Analytics, Data Science or comparable fields
• Strong experience with SQL, Python/R and other languages/technologies for performing complex data modelling and analysis. Expert in visualization tools (e.g. , Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong experience in data science methodologies and frameworks, such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, etc.
• Strong experience with cloud data platform ( GCP or AWS)
• Strong experience of mathematical and statistical data analysis techniques (such as regression, extrapolation, time series analysis, forecasting, statistical hypothesis testing and econometric models)
• You are enthusiastic, innovative, with an analytical mind, a 'can do' attitude and capable of using data to tell stories
• Good and versatile communication and presentation skills (technical vs business vs layman vs C-level)
• Ability to coach and mentor junior data scientists
• Ability to multitask and balance competing priorities
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, digital business industry will be an added advantage
• Ability to communicate both in Thai & English effectively
