Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Personal Chef to join a household in Harare, Zimbabwe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working for high-end families, providing exceptional culinary services tailored to individual tastes and dietary requirements, as well as catering for smaller functions set out by the family.
Responsiblities
• Plan and prepare daily meals, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, ensuring a variety of healthy, gourmet, and delicious dishes.
• Create customized menus based on the familys preferences and dietary needs, including organic, gluten-free, vegan, or other special diets.
• Source high-quality, fresh ingredients from local markets and specialty stores.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Manage kitchen inventory, including shopping for groceries and supplies.
• Cater for special events, dinner parties, and family gatherings, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
• Collaborate with household staff to ensure smooth meal service and accommodate any special requests or changes in the schedule.
Skills

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietary restrictions, and special diets.
• Expertise in a variety of cuisines and cooking techniques.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Personal Chef for high-end families or in a similar role.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification from a recognized institution.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
