Job Title: NOC Technician
Location: Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented NOC Technician to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. The ideal candidate will have experience in networking practices, VoIP, SMS, monitoring, troubleshooting, and tracing issues within a telecom environment. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is an absolute requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitoring and Surveillance: Proactively monitor network operations, including VoIP, SMS, and data services, ensuring optimal performance and addressing anomalies.
• Troubleshooting and Fault Resolution: Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot network-related issues in real-time, working towards quick resolutions and minimal service disruptions.
• Incident Management: Log, escalate, and resolve incidents using established protocols and coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Network Maintenance: Assist in scheduled maintenance and upgrades of network systems to prevent potential failures and outages.
• System Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of incidents, actions taken, and system performance for reporting purposes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other technical teams and provide real-time communication and updates on network performance.
• Customer Support: Support customers with technical issues related to network services, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
Essential Requirements:
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is non-negotiable. The candidate must be able to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally.
• Technical Expertise:
• Solid understanding of networking practices (IP addressing, routing, switching, etc.).
• Experience with VoIP systems, SMS gateways, and related protocols.
• Competence in network monitoring tools and technologies (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience in network troubleshooting and analysis.
• Tools and Technologies:
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and systems like SNMP, Wireshark, NetFlow, etc.
• Knowledge of network and systems diagnostics and trace utilities
