Clarence George is currently working with a top reinsurer located in Bermuda, looking for an ambitious Senior Actuarial Associate to join their expanding team. This position will support the continued growth and development of the business, offering exposure to a broad spectrum of reinsurance transactions.
Role/Team:
• The reinsurer has a proven track record of execution, having closed multiple separate reinsurance transactions
• Currently, a team of 8 the Actuarial function work on reporting, ALM and modelling processes
• The purpose of the role is to develop, maintain, and calibrate actuarial Axis models to support valuation, reporting, and regulatory compliance
• This person will implement Axis model changes, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide technical support
Profile:
• ASA or FSA qualification or equivalent
• 4+ years experience in life (re)insurance
• Strong Moody’s Axis skills
• Experience with US GAAP, US Stat, Bermuda EBS and BSCR, RBC, Solvency II, and/or fixed income assets is desirable but not essential
