Your role in the team
• Collaboration in the planning, installation and maintenance of IT security solutions (Linux mail, firewall, proxy).
• Support in the expansion and further development of the open source infrastructure (RHEL, CentOS, SaltStack) as well as in troubleshooting.
• Collaboration on state administration projects from the design phase to the implementation of applications.
• Installation and support of applications in the area of IT security.
• Advising colleagues on IT security issues.
• Automation of processes in the IT security area.
• Taking over the telephone on-call service (approx. 10 weeks per year).

Our expectations:
Qualifications
• Git, CI/CD and GitOps are already common concepts.
• Class B driving license and willingness to perform field work (primarily with company cars).
• Logical-analytical thinking and ability to solve conceptual tasks.
• Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to communicate, cooperate and work in a team as well as the ability to deal with conflict situations in a targeted manner.
Experience
• Several years of experience in operating Linux systems as well as in automation with scripting languages, SaltStack and ideally Ansible is an advantage.
Education
• Completed Master's/diploma/doctoral or Bachelor's degree with a focus on computer science or a related technical subject or completed school leaving certificate or diploma examination from a general or vocational higher school with a focus on computer science or a related technical subject and ideally relevant professional experience or completed apprenticeship in a technical profession (preferably as an information technologist, industrial engineer or systems engineer) with at least 5 years of professional experience.
