Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an FMCG company in Harare. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, negotiating prices, developing relationships with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The role involves analyzing market trends, maintaining inventory levels, and adhering to procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proven experience in procurement and purchasing
• Knowledge of supply chain management
• Ability to analyze market trends and make informed decisions
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field
