The key purpose of The Helpdesk Specialist is to be responsible for receipting, resolving or redirecting logged tickets queries in the Procurement software or via other modes provide customer-centric assistance to key stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance to provide support
• Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
• Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
• Follow-up and update customer status and information
• Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
• Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
• Perform call-backs with suppliers on a regular basis, to confirm banking details
• Assist Master Data team whenever required
• Ensure quality completeness of all Master Data on the systems
• Validate changes with RCM / Category Leads
• Communicate status to requestor and relevant stakeholder
• Support the business for audit requirements
• Escalate issues to Content and Contract Lead
Requirements:
• University Degree or equivalent
• At least one year's experience in a customer facing role Behavioral Competencies
• Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases
• Customer-oriented and cool-tempered to deal with difficult customers
• Ability to work under high-pressure
• Communicating effectively by conveying information and ideas in a clear, meaningful, and timely manner, providing information to ensure understanding; solicit inputs and provide open candid conversations
• Establishing collaborative working relationships
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders
