The ideal candidate will design, organize, and manage our customer's computer systems. This individual will evaluate and assess systems to ensure they are operating effectively. Based on assessments, this individual will harness collected knowledge and make adjustments to existing systems.
Responsibilities
• Installing, configuring and maintain servers and networks
• Ensure system design allows all components to work together properly
• Overseeing system performance and troubleshooting issues;
• Creating a backup and safeguarding the data if there are any hindrances;
• Performing system upgrades following new releases;
• Maintaining internal documentation through Wiki;
• Performing account setup;
• Sustaining network integrity, server deployment, and security;
• Monitoring and maintaining network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems;
• Ensuring high-level security and efficiency resulting in 100% output.
• Make recommendations for upgrades
• Evaluate and modify system performance based on approved framework
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
• 5+ years' experience as System Administrator
• System Engineer certification (Microsoft Servers, Office 365, Linux, Databases,CompTIA,VMWare, Nutanix, Exchange, AD, Citrix)
• Strong analytical skills
