We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing organization.
Responsibilities
· Creating full set Electrical drawings for Solar projects.
· Drafting electrical one-line diagrams, panel system designs and conduct PVsyst Analysis.
· Creating PV Wire schedule and create equipment detail sheets.
· Gaining deep knowledge of PV system components like modules, racking, inverters and BOS.
· Conducting site feasibility studies and assisting with site surveying for PV layouts, building measurements and solar trajectory, shading, and power output calculations.
· Review shop drawings, respond to request for information (RFIs) and assist with general construction support services.
· Understanding and implementing designs from technical drawings
· Interacting with contractors and customers using verbal and written communication
· Making presentations to clients and coworkers
· Creating product documentation and records
· Preparing cost estimates for customers and other employees
· Inspecting electrical components during and after the product installation
· Testing electronics for problems and proposing solutions
· Prepare layouts and specifications; review design proposals and drawings; and assure that specifications meet performance requirements
· Provide electrical engineering expertise to the development of technical specifications, requisition and bid documents, inspection and testing requirements, etc.
· Demonstrate the ability to work in an open communicative environment, and can adapt to changing design requirements rapidly.
· Attend meetings and provide professional recommendations as requested
· Professionally interface with customers and vendors
· Check and review documents produced by other members of the department for completion and accuracy
· Develop and perform formal technical reports summarizing analyses, calculations and engineering studies
· Create documentation, participate in design reviews
· Perform other Electrical Engineering design and support tasks as designated by manager
· Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business
Qualifications
· Minimum 3-5 years experience working as an Electrical Engineering
· Experience with of Solidworks, manual drafting and electrical line drawing
· Understanding of engineering and renewable energy systems
· Excellent organizational skills: proficient with MS Excel spreadsheets and data management
· Understanding of solar photvoltaic systems including SCADA
· Experience desired in areas of circuits, systems integration, logistics integration, drawings/design, multi-dimensional tests, etc.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
