We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our growing organization.
Responsibilities
· Define and supervise EarthCam’s security monitoring service
· Define a strategy for the product's evolution and oversee the implementation of product features based competitive analysis, market and technology trends.
· Collaborate with the engineering team building the product to clarify requirements and specifications
· Work with our Sales team to understand clients' monitoring objectives & meticulously craft security solutions unique to their site
· Maintain an open line of communication with all internal and external team members
· Work together with product development teams on technical specification and offering creation
· Oversee and plan how to market and promote the product to our clients
· Work alongside our Field Services staff to ensure security installations meet EarthCam’s specification
· Perform video calls with clients to onboard their security solution
· Collect feedback from our clients about the performance for continuous improvement as well as conduct market research
· Prioritize bug fixes & feature additions and assigning these tasks to the R&D & Programming departments.
Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems, Technology is preferred.
· Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Passionate about technology and have a strong drive to advance the state of IT through virtualization
· Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third party agencies
· Ability to capture and articulate customer problems and translate those into product strategy and requirements
· Ability to take ownership of the product and solution strategy, providing a clear and achievable roadmap for customer success
Nice to have:
· Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
· Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
· Solid understanding of sub-contracting/vendor work
