We are Swan Global, a leading provider of data center services, seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Technician to join our team in Doha. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Server Maintenance: Install, maintain, support, and update all Microsoft Windows Operating Systems for workstations and servers within our network.
• VM Migration: Migrate VMs from Hyper-V to VMWare, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
• Firmware Upgrade: Upgrade firmware on HPE, Cisco, and Dell servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Hyper-V Patching: Manage monthly Hyper-V patching, ensuring our systems remain up-to-date and secure.
• Network Monitoring: Monitor network stability and security, identifying potential issues and resolving them promptly.
• Data Center Operations: Ensure data center facilities are running efficiently, with regular monitoring of power cooling, and backup systems.
• Support Escalations: Provide 24/7 support, escalating issues to vendors as needed to ensure prompt resolution.
• Reporting: Generate regular reports on data center performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:
• 3-8 years of experience in data center operations and server maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, VMWare, and Hyper-V.
• Experience with firmware upgrades and patching.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
