School Crossing Patrol Officer

3.33 hours per week
Permanent
£23,473 pro rata (including Distant Islands Allowance)

A School Crossing Patrol Officer is required to supervise a crossing point in Finstown. The normal working week is restricted to the opening time of the Firth Primary School, with a 40 minute shift in the morning being required.

We are looking for a punctual, trustworthy, honest individual who has a genuine interest in children's safety to join our team. School Crossing Patrol Officers are employed to help children cross busy roads on their journeys to and from school.

No formal qualifications are necessary, common sense is more important for this post, but previous experience of working with children is essential.

All uniform and equipment will be supplied.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children.
