As Network Expert, you will be responsible for the full ITSM stack & project work:
• Follow up and management of the ticketing queue.
• Troubleshoot: whenever an incident occurs with one of our customers, you are the one to respond to it and deal with it.
• Executing configuration changes: if a service request is made, you make sure that the job gets done.
• Design/Architecture: when a solution has to be modified to suit a client (tailor-made).

Is there a match?
• You are located in Belgium and are in possession of driver’s license.
• You excel as a communicator, possessing fluency in both English and either Dutch or French.
• Have 3 to 5 years of experience as a network engineer.
• Extended Experience with Cloud Azure networking.
• AWS networking knowledge is a plus.
• VPN/IPsec experience needed.
• Understanding of sdwan and VWAN.
• Knowledge of at least one of these technologies: Cisco (switching / Firewalls / Wireless controller / Wireless access points), Meraki, Fortinet or Checkpoint.
• One or more certificates: Azure AZ-305, AZ-700, AZ-104 and/or Cisco CCNA.
• >1 year of experience with infra-as-code (bicep, terraform and/or ansible).
• Network project references are required.
• An instinct for consultancy: you’re open to developing the necessary communication skills to connect with and guide business stakeholders and clients.
• Flexible as there will be weekend and outside of business hours interventions on production environments.
• Motivation to learn and eager to take on new challenges.
• A pragmatic approach to balance business needs with compliance requirements.
• You can think along with customers and propose new solutions that can be integrated into their environment.
• You have exemplary organizational and interpersonal skills. You are able to manage both customers and colleagues perfectly.
• Eagerness to join the 24/7 on-call team.
