Our client ATU BVI is a British Virgin Islands Trust Company which holds a Class I Trust License and offers a comprehensive range of fiduciary and corporate management services. ATU has been successfully operating in the BVI since 1995 and is a member of ATU Group, founded in 1929.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Trust Officer (m/w/d) with a strong background in trust administration and fiduciary services. The ideal candidate brings over seven years of experience in managing diverse trust structures within a reputable trust company, paired with STEP membership or a relevant legal qualification. This role is perfect for someone with a proactive approach to problem-solving, exceptional analytical abilities, and a commitment to integrity and confidentiality. The candidate should be a team player, eager to contribute to a collaborative environment and demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a solution-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and manage a diverse portfolio of fiduciary structures, including VISTA, Purpose Trusts, Managed Trusts, Share Trusts, and various company types.
• Oversee the administration of trust processes such as distribution requests, trust variations, terminations, and trustee appointments or retirements.
• Collaborate with legal counsel for complex trust transactions and the implementation of new fiduciary structures.
• Conduct regular reviews of trust and company files to ensure compliance with BVI legal standards.
• Review and approve financial statements for trusts and associated companies.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients and their attorneys, managing inquiries and providing updates on trust affairs.
• Support and guide team members on the setup and administration of trusts and managed companies.

Qualifications:
• Membership with STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) or a legal qualification.
• Over 7 years of experience as a trust administrator within a reputable trust company.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
• Outstanding analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
