Job details
Teach a third grade class at a great International School where the teaching and learning structure is based on the American, California Common Core State Curriculum Standards (CCCS). The CCCS denote specific measures that outline “what 21st century learners should know and be able to do.” The focused standards are cross-curricular and build upon improving literacy and academic rigor. Join a team of multi-cultural staff, who represent over 14 different nationalities.
The school's intent is to ensure that students matriculate as global citizens with diverse intercultural experiences that will prepare them to be College and Career Ready. All core classes are delivered in English. French and Arabic are World Languages that are both embedded into our curriculum to provide learners with additional language experiences.
Requirements
• American Common Core experience or knowledge, with international experience
• Bachelor’s Degree, minimum
• Knowledge in all MESS subjects
• Willing to work in Djibouti
