Job Title: Factory Manager
At Open Mind, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Factory Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Luanda and the provinces. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of our factory, including budgeting, cost management, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
• Budgeting and Cost Management: Develop and implement effective budgeting and cost management strategies to ensure the factory operates within budget.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality and quantity standards, and implement processes to prevent defects and improve overall quality.
• Operational Planning: Develop and implement operational plans to meet customer needs and drive business growth.
• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
• Communication: Ensure effective communication with all employees, stakeholders, and customers to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned with factory operations.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all factory operations are conducted in a safe and compliant manner, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
• Experience: 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations, with a proven track record of success in budgeting, cost management, and quality control.
• Language: Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of business and management principles, including budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources.
Additional Information:
The successful candidate will be based in Luanda, with regular travel to the provinces to oversee factory operations. The role offers a competitive salary, accommodation, local health insurance, shared transport, and one ticket per year
