Position Summary

Purpose

Move material, Equipment's and Products around the facilities, operate the forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety, the job involve driving around warehouse, storage spaces and others facilities the main goal will be ensure that material and products will always be in the right place to achieve the maximum efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility, including loading and unloading trucks and transporting goods to designated areas.

• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries, including conducting pre-use inspections of the forklift and reporting any issues promptly.

• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas or workstations, supporting overall operational efficiency.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on the forklift, such as refueling, checking fluid levels, and inspecting forklift components to ensure proper functioning and longevity of the equipment.

• Flexibly respond to changing operational demands and prioritize tasks accordingly to support the dynamic needs of the facility.

• Helping maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

• Keeping updated records of inventory and activity logs

ADDITIONAL

• Plays a crucial role in material handling, safety compliance, inventory management, and operational support within the facility, contributing to efficient and safe operations.

• Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities

Reporting Relationship

• Reports to Facility Manager

• You can receive instructions from a more experienced forklift operator/leader

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Proven experience as forklift Operator

• Attention to detail anf familiarity with industrial equipment

• Excellent physical condition and coordination

• High School Diploma

Working Conditions

This position is considered SHOP/INDOOR WORK which is characterized as follows.

• Primarily indoors during the day and occasionally at night.

• Frequently working on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment.

• When outdoors, humidity is frequently above 90%

• Noise is over 85 decibels.

• Light is intense/glare.
• Occasional exposure to open fire/flames/sparks.
• Frequent exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gases.
