Applus+ Angola is looking for a Internal Controls and Compliance Analyst.
The Internal Controls and Compliance analyst is responsible for ensuring the effective execution of all internal controls and compliance activities, in particular the creation and adequate administration of OpCo's internal controls systems that ensure the fulfilment of the requirements of OpCo, and Ltd Management.
This is a residential position in Luanda, with a working schedule of 5/2.
Duration of contract is 12 months minimum.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree / Degree is required (relevant qualifications for this position are required)

Responsibilities:
• Engage in the development and revision of appropriate internal controls and compliance procedures and processes of OpCo.
• Develop and execute an annual "internal control review audit program" which:
o Identify all key controls identified within the processes related to Financial reporting;
o Test all high controls every year and other controls on a less frequent cyclical basis;
o Ensure that where deficiencies are identified remedial action is taken;
o Together with the OpCo ICC Manager, complete the annual OpCo letter of representation process;
o Support OpCo's Compliance Processes, including ongoing coordination, training, and monitoring of all compliance issues. (as set out in the Code of Conduct and compliance policies");
o Coordinate the correct access controls and application of DOA, setting up in SAP system, monitoring
application in workflows and manages the temporary DOA re-assignments.
• Support contract and agreements due diligence processes to ensure the adequate control clauses are in place; prepare and/or review vendor reports. Support for Finance/Compliance position for Contracts Review Committee (CRC).
• Support external financial audits, in particular:
o Audits with the Ministry of Finance, statutory auditors (PwC) and prepare responses to audit queries;
o Participate in the resolution and implementation of all audit recommendations and resolutions.
• Maintain adequate training programs to ensure all OpCo employees understand and comply with the requirements of the foundation Policies and other compliance related topics, procedures and policies.
• Develop and apply of reports to enable the continuous monitoring of the business compliance performance of OpCo.
• Provide risk management support as requested by the Risk Committee and regularly review and update OpCo Finance and Planning risks.
