Job-Details
• Reviews subcontract documents, identifies potential risks and becomes fully aware of all contractual requirements, deliverables, insurance policies/certificates, sureties (warranties, Performance bond, LDs, notices, and key milestone activities) notices and notice periods, milestone activities, etc. and may participate during the preparation of the tender documents.
• Able to review and analyses BOQs and quantity surveyors report by subcontractors.
• Ensures that the Subcontract Plan and Subcontract Payment Procedure comply with the subcontract Terms and Conditions.
• Identifies and evaluates claims and disputes with the project management team.
• Ensures that the subcontract progress is in compliance with the invoice as per the subcontract Terms & conditions.
• Provides guidance on subcontract interpretation, analyses project contractual performance/implementation and identifies contractual concerns providing recommended corrective actions to the Subcontract Managers and Contract Manager.
• Administers subcontracts and manages meetings and discussions with subcontractors, together with the project management team.
• Participates in the formal close-out of contracts with subcontractors, including release of Completion Certificates, release of Retention Monies, release of Bank Guarantees, administration of Warranty claims and ensure that Company’s rights are respected.
• Prepares lessons learned regarding the contractual issues in order to prevent repetition for other subcontracts.
• Be aware of and implements relevant aspects of Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management systems.
Requirements
5-10 years of job relevant experience.
