Customer Services Adviser (2 posts)
35 hours per week (May - September 2023)
Temporary
£26,851 - £28,817 (including Distant Islands Allowance)
We are looking to recruit committed and enthusiastic individuals to become part of the Customer Service team within the Orkney Ferries offices for the summer season.
This position represents a challenging opportunity assisting in a range of duties including customer services, dealing with enquiries and taking bookings and details for the Ferry booking system and administrative support.
Candidates should hold a minimum of an SVQ2 or equivalent level qualification including Maths and English and be familiar with Microsoft office packages.
Candidates will also be able to demonstrate the ability to establish good working relationships with all levels of staff and to provide a professional service to the public.
With a busy workload you must be organised and able to work on own initiative and prioritise work in order to cope with tight deadlines. Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills are essential for this role.
Please note part time candidates will be considered for the post.
You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
