Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional manner
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor and stockroom
• Restock merchandise and maintain visual displays
• Operate a cash register and handle customer payments
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
