SummaryWe are looking for a dock & customer service coordinator to work at Conch Charters in a dual function role. This job involves ensuring the competition and quality of charter yacht preparation for arriving customers as well as being one of the main points of contact for charter guests on the operational side of the business.You will coordinate various members of staff to ensure yachts are turned around between charters in-line with the company’s standards. You will also brief customers before their charter and after their return, as well as assist with any queries they may have.What you will be doing:Coordinating various staff members in the preparation of yachts for charter on schedule.Completing turnaround service checks and yacht preparation.Briefing of clients on yacht mechanical systems and safety equipment.Maintenance and repairs to all yachts and yacht equipment– including mechanical, electrical and plumbing.Proactive and preventative daily maintenance, including checks and repairs.Emergency call outs for breakdownsCompetent movement of yachts onto mooring balls, the dock, and refuellingEnsuring the safety of all clientsAssisting clients with queries and problemsAssisting with the general running of the base and customer service supportAny other duties as directed by the Operations ManagerThe ideal candidate with have the following:A captains licence is desirable, must be qualified to charter a boat with Conch ChartersA theoretical understanding of yacht maintenance with direct practical experience.Previous experience of preparing vessels for annual safety inspections to assist the organisation in its compliance with the VISR rules and regulations.Experience working with similar yachts, manoeuvring yachts will be requiredOffshore sea experience is desirable.Practically minded, a good fault finder, with the proactive attitude to solve problemsAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesExperience in a customer facing positionWell organised and able to prioritise effectively
