Job-Details
We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Part-Time Tour Guide to join our team. In this role, you will lead groups of visitors on immersive tours, sharing your passion for Anguilla's stunning landscapes, local culture, and historical landmarks.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct informative and engaging tours of Anguilla's attractions.
• Share knowledge about the island's lifestyle, history, culture, and ecology.
• Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
• Assist in marketing and promoting tour experiences.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any inquiries.
Requirements
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in tourism, history, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
Skills and Knowledge
• Strong knowledge of Anguilla's history, culture, and natural environment
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
• First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.
• Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Experience
• Previous experience in tour guiding or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with local attractions, restaurants, and activities is beneficial.
