About Our Client
My client is a leading consumer manufacturer operating globally, and they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Financial Controller to join the team. As the Financial Controller of 3 regions, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial operations and reporting for the organisation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving financial performances of 3 sites of total over 1500 staffs.
Job Description
• Develop and execute financial strategies and objectives for the 3 regions, aligning them with the overall organizational goals and objectives.
• Manage and oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the 3 regions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide accurate and timely financial consolidation of the 3 site, financial analysis including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements across multiple countries within the APAC region while maintaining confidentiality.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial systems to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting, with a strong emphasis on data privacy and security.
• Coordinate and manage the annual audit process for the APAC region, working closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue growth strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HQ, Region, Local operations, and supply chain, to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
The Successful Applicant
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with working in a matrix organisation
• Track record of consolidation, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, with a focus on driving financial performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
• Experienced cross country leadership management is plus.
• Great command of English and Mandarin.
• Ability to business travel once a quarter across Asia or HQ for business meetings.
• Experienced working in manufacturing industries is mandatory **
