About Our Client
A Multinational Conglomerate Group is looking for a Tax Manager to come on-board to provide strategic insights for tax improvement for the management. It has many different products, developed over many years leading to a highly successful business in their markets.
Job Description
• Develop and manage tax strategies to ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, including corporate income taxes, and other related filings.
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on new tax laws and regulations affecting the organization.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective tax planning.
• Provide guidance and support for tax audits and manage relationships with external tax advisors.
• Implement and monitor internal controls and tax policies to minimize risk and optimize tax efficiencies.
The Successful Applicant
This role of Tax Manager is based in Jakarta and as a result of the government regulations we are only looking for Indonesian To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have a strong tax background, as well as some years of experience in a MNC business.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in similar roles
• Bachelor degree in accounting/finance or full professional qualification (e.g. Tax Brevet A, B)
• Experience in handling local tax regulation (VAT/ CIT/ withholding tax)
• Strong leadership and highly motivated to overcome challenges
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Bahasa Indonesia and ability to build cross discipline relationships
• High level of ethics and integrity
