For the position of an Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for facilitating safety protocols while ensuring that the store is equipped with the necessary products to meet customer satisfaction. Additionally, your attentiveness to details will ensure that customers will always have founder and easily accessible products.
By safely unloading new merchandise, transporting it to the sales floor, and restocking different department areas, the in-store Warehouse Technician employee is instrumental in providing consumers with the right products. They have basic knowledge and expertise in handling potential dangers, managing damaged or broken shelving, maintaining a tidy backroom, and checking that equipment is correctly charged. They also excel at organizing merchandise and optimizing stores for overall sales success.
Although this job does not typically involve travel, there may be the occasional need to physically attend meetings, training sessions, or to provide assistance to other stores nearby.
Responsibilities:
• Unload trucks.
• Organize products at the back of the store.
• Properly organize and position items on shelves to prevent damages.
• Maintain clean, structured, and secure aisles.
• Project a warm and welcoming vibe when interacting with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include:
• You have the ability to read, write and conduct basic arithmetic calculations including addition and subtraction.
Preferred qualifications include:
• Perhaps you've spent time in the restaurant industry and are ready for a change. Transitioning to retail could provide you with a fresh start and a chance to learn new skills.
• To be eligible for operating a forklift or similar equipment, one must have at least three months of experience in the field.
• My work experience has spanned over half a year where my tasks included stocking shelves and managing inventory in a warehouse.
