NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for a new EU funded project - Technical Assistance to National Institute of Statistics NISR and is looking to identify individual experts to carry out the assignment.

The objective of this assignment is to contribute to the modernization of statistics production in Rwanda and improve uptake of statistics across the National Statistics System.

Location: Kigali, Rwanda

Duration: The indicative start date is 30/11/2024 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 730 days from this date (indicative end date: 30/11/2026).

Key Expert: Data Communication and Visualization Expert (Cat. II)

Key expert in charge of delivering services under Special Objective 4 - capacity building related to data communication and visualization.

Expert category: Home Based - Cat. II (>6 years of experience)

Qualifications and skills:
• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Language skills: English Proficiency in French will be an added advantage.

General professional experience:

At least 6 years of professional experience in data visualization and data communication, with a proven track record of training others, supported by relevant certificates.

Specific professional experience:
• Expertise in Tableau, Power BI, Python (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly), and Excel.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation techniques.
